Inside Our Authentication Process

Every watch that comes through Trimora — new or pre-owned — goes through the same inspection before it's ever listed. It starts with the paperwork: box, papers, warranty cards, and service history are cross-checked against the manufacturer's own records where available.
From there, our horologists open the case. Movement architecture, finishing, and serial numbers are compared against reference documentation for that specific model and production era, since even small deviations can indicate a swapped movement or an aftermarket part.
Case and bracelet are checked next — hallmarks, lug shape, clasp mechanisms, and crown signatures are all details that are difficult to fake convincingly at scale, and easy to spot once you know what to look for.
The whole process typically takes 24 to 48 hours per piece. It's slower than we'd like some days, but it's the reason we can offer a straightforward guarantee: if a watch we sold you ever turns out not to be genuine, it's a full refund, no exceptions.
